Review on K&N Cold Air Intake Kit 57-3021-1: Boost Horsepower for 1999-2004 Chevy/GMC (Silverado 1500, Sierra 1500) 4.8L & 5.3L V8 Engines by Kyle Tran

I bought this and installed it on my truck and am very happy with the purchase. Installation went smoothly and relatively quickly. The only minor inconvenience was trimming the edge of the fan cover a bit to keep the pipe from rubbing and seating properly, but the instructions say you may need to do this. The next day I got the 40 series Flomaster exhaust and the Chevy V8 sounds fantastic. I would highly recommend the K&N to anyone looking for a bit more power as it definitely opens up the engine, especially when paired with an exhaust system or muffler.
