Finally fixed the problem of my jeep not starting but causing new ones. I didn't look closely at the electrical connection and when I plugged the harness in, the connector at the end of the harness broke. This allowed the engine to spin, but it would not start. It turns out that the plug is not a secondary spare part. After 4-5 hours of fiddling I was able to fix it but it caused a lot of needless frustration. If you choose this route, be sure to check the orientation of the buttons before connecting the harness.
