Review on BELLA Countertop Toaster Quartz Element by Liz Lee

I bought this Bella toaster on 02/01/2020 and have used it at least 100 times in the last 6 months. Despite its small size and inability to hold more than two toasts and uneven toasting, I was happy with the value for money until it broke. A faulty mechanism is worrying and can lead to a house fire. In order to operate this oven, you must set the target temperature using the top dial. Then turn the bottom knob to set the correct cooking time. During normal operation, the oven will turn on and start a countdown as the bottom knob is turned counterclockwise. When the time reaches "0", the oven will turn off and the countdown will stop. About 3 weeks ago I noticed that when the countdown reached '0' the oven would turn itself off but the timer would keep turning counter-clockwise. Within a minute the button reached the STAY ON position and the oven turned back on and stayed on. If I didn't keep an eye on the stove, it could be left unattended all day and risk a fire. This device should be recalled.
