Heavy enough that they don't stick to the bottom of the glass when you lift them
I had wooden coasters with cork. They always seem to stick to the bottom of my canning jar when wet, then fall off when I take a sip. I've been using them for several hours now. These coasters appear to absorb condensation and won't stick to the bottom of a glass or pitcher. Stands with holder are exactly as advertised. Update: I liked them so much I bought a second set. it's 5!
