I used this to repair a hard triple deck lid on my truck. Packing up at the end of a holiday, I was overcrowding the bed of the truck when I closed the lid, the latch hung but the items in the bed were pressing the lid too hard and ripped off the latch mechanism. I've tried regular rivets, but this lid is basically styrofoam covered in thin aluminum. They fell behind quite a bit within a few days. I tried adding glue before the rivets, it didn't change anything. They spread nice and wide in the cavity over thin aluminum and have held tight for almost a year. Unfortunately I didn't measure correctly and they are too big to fit in the lid so I made new holes in the top of the lid when I used them. Although they were pretty easy to fix with epoxy.
