Review on 🚗 Pacesetter 750028 Catalytic Converter Manifold Upgrade for Toyota RAV4 2.0L Engine by Jorge Tupou

Attention buyers! I bought these in July 2015 and had a problem from the start. After replacing the cat, 4 O2 sensors, gas cap, spark plugs and mass air flow sensor, I still had the check engine light on. Well I ended up having to take my Rav4 to a Toyota dealership so they figure out what was going on. I haven't been to a dealer for my Rav4 since I bought this car in 2006. The Toyota dealer said it was a Kat. I told them to change it as I had no choice. An inspection was imminent and I had to drive through to get back on the road. $800 for OEM cat. plus work. I have to admit they fixed it and I was impressed with the service I received from Huber Vester Toyota in Wilson, NC. Outstanding service department. I contacted the pacemeter and got an apology. I confirmed the purchase, emailed them the Toyota invoice and apologized. Sent them the OBD code that Toyota diagnosed. Joe from Pacesetter said that doesn't mean her cat is bad. He said they can only exchange the cat and will not refund my money. Incidentally, according to Joe, the warranty is 5 years or 24,000 miles. Just exchange it for a new one. So bottom line. Don't use these people. Rav4s are notorious for bringing cats on them as they have a double row and fit right up against the exhaust manifold. Bad design but I love my Rav4. She has over 307,000 miles on her account. Joe couldn't believe how many miles he'd put on and figured the mileage was the problem too. Why did the OEM work but Joe!
