This hitch works well and costs very well. Installation can be very simple... or an ordeal that takes hours and hours. I think my installation took 4 hours, 3 hours and 45 minutes to make every possible mistake and learn how to do it and 15 to do everything. The instruction manual is very basic but assumes you know what you are doing. I've worked a lot on cars so I'm not totally stupid, but I've never worked with fishing wire so I had to learn a bit. Here's what I learned: 1. When attaching studs to fishing wire, fasten them securely, but make sure you only screw on the ends of the studs. If you overtighten, the screws will not go through the holes.2. Don't tighten anything until everything is in place. This is pretty standard assembly advice.3. Pliers with curved ends are required to pull the bolts.4. If you lose a screw in a pipe, you can use a garden hose (not a water hose) to slide it from one end of the pipe to the other to pull it out. You can ruin the threaded wire, but if you do you can still use them by twisting the wires tightly around the ends of the screws. I hope you learn from my experience that this is an inexpensive and efficient towbar. Installation is easy if you don't make any mistakes.
