I bought a set of EBC FA67X brake pads for my 1987 KLR250. The KLR has a single-piston caliper up front and a small rotor. It's quite a small and light bike, but the front brake doesn't fit. Because of this, the FA67X just didn't perform well enough. The FA67A has a much bigger bite and requires less lever effort. The brakes are still pretty pathetic, but at least they're not dangerous anymore. Unfortunately, pads can only partially compensate for this problem. All in all these are great pads and they are about as good as this bike can get.
