Basecamp reminds me of the mid 90's program

Typical Garmin headache up to now. Basecamp still reminds me of the mid 90's program. I spent 6 hours uploading an OSM map here because Garmin 100% does not sell maps for Korea or Japan. So. The world's largest GPS manufacturer doesn't even offer GPS maps for the world's third largest economy. OSM maps are the only choice. But they don't load on Zumo. Edit: Changed to 4 stars. I finally have an OSM card that works on this thing. Still taking one star off because it was such a headache and the fact that Basecamp is such a terrible program is mind boggling. Creating your own route and getting it on your GPS is so difficult that it's not fun. I have already made a trip with my GPS. I had two old Zumos. This is good. I will give Touch works well for a waterproof model. The screen is bright even in the brightest sun. Not perfect, but visible in direct sunlight, something brand name GPS's can't do. This zumo is skinny. lighter. Still feels solid. I had a model that had rusted contacts despite being waterproof. The other one a friend is using is good but bold and bulky. They seem to have really improved the bracket and power connections, as well as the ability to cover the bracket and module pins. I have yet to test it in the rain. Only time can tell. At the moment my only complaint is probably the price. But nothing in the cone market comes close. So that's demand. I've tried several different Japanese models and they are complete rubbish compared to the Zumo. And base camp. solid garbage. Garmin should be ashamed that they still haven't turned Basecamp into a useful product.
