I've been using these skates for a few months now and they're holding up well. I skate outside about 12-15 hours a week and don't change skates. I find it very convenient the way it is - no break time required. The only thing I don't like about the skates is that they are heavy, but I quickly got used to it. The wheels are perfect for outdoor riding but too sticky for indoor activities. I would say these are good skates for beginners and suitable for people with wider feet. I wear size 7 women's tennis shoes and agree with another reviewer that women's size 8 is probably the size limit for these skates.
