Review on 🚘 Maxpow 2pcs Hood Lift Supports Shocks Struts - Ford Explorer 2002-2010 4142 8097SS Compatibility (Excluding 2002-2006 Sport Trac) by Marc Tufa

Replaced failed hood pillars. The packaging is good. No physical damage noted, no wrinkling or torn packaging. The quality of the hood mount looks pretty good. Was able to service the entire hood with 1 new replacement. The only problem I had was opening the clamps. [First attempt at this type of repair so I'm not at all familiar.] I would recommend using a pick or something similar to pry the clips open as I had trouble prying them open even with a small flathead screwdriver. .However I think it's a good product, they came pre-lubricated in the ball joints and were easy enough to swap out even with limited arm mobility.
