I hate laptop fingertips for navigation! I always have a wireless mouse attached and use it. Leaving a mouse on my leather couch was annoying because it would often bump into a decorative stitch or ride up my butt. I really like it, it's so much easier. Until you move a little. The tape on the bottom is great, but you also need it on the side so it doesn't slip off if you move the wrong way or accidentally tip it over when you lift your knees to put it aside to stand up. I'll try to find a rubber band for the side. While the overhang is adequate, it would be nice if there was an inch or two more on the top and sides, but it does what I need and is easy to use.
