The concept is exactly what I needed. However, the tray is a bit small. Also, no matter how many times I tighten the grip, it will eventually warp after hours of use and your mouse just rolls off. I had to stuff a piece of folded paper along the bottom to make it a little stronger so it's less likely to fall off, but it's still a hassle.

It provides a durable mouse tab that is very useful. However, it is very smooth. The mouse slips at the slightest tilt of the laptop or laptop.
