I was amazed at the quality of the photos and videos I was able to take with this little microscope. I've lost about 75% of my eyesight in the last two years and I'm trying to pull out the pieces (I work a lot with wood) or see the smallest objects like something in my eye, baby aquarium creatures, or even warnings and instructions for a lot of points absolutely impossible for me. This wireless digital microscope is the remedy I needed. I have a Galaxy s10 5G phone with amazing picture quality (even better than iPhone XS Max in my opinion) but using my phone's microscope is not the best option. Although the quality is fantastic it captures all my normal shaky movements and I have a hard time focusing on the smallest of subjects and the photo quality in microscope apps is pretty grainy and terrible because it comes with a small stand, which helps get rid of those shaky, grainy photos and gives me great quality photos and videos. I love that it supports Bluetooth and I haven't had a single problem connecting to my phone. The app that comes with the microscope is a little archaic, but it gets the job done. I wish there was a way to focus with the app or turn on the "autofocus" option. And that brings me to the only downside of this article. A little dial on the visor is, you know, a smut. It takes me forever to get the focus right because the movement of my finger turning the dial causes the microscope to move and therefore the focus to shift. After getting used to it, it got better, but still. Please provide an updated version with digital focus! I keep fish and in their aquariums I like to keep live plants. Because of this I had a small problem with bladder snails in one of my tanks. They happily hitchhike live plants and resist most treatments designed to remove them. I have treated my tank with saltwater and copper (after moving the fish) and wanted to see how well this treatment works on the remaining snail eggs in the tank. anything. -gggrrrr- The above video shows little snails running carelessly around the world. Yes, they're cute when they're little, but they're programmed to completely take over the aquarium from the start! These little snails are tiny. When I say tiny, you can easily put four or five on a pinhead and watch them dance. I hope you can see the excellent quality of the videos captured with this microscope and they were captured the first time I used it. I've been better since then.*** In exchange for my honest review of this product, I was offered a discount. I've been buying used college textbooks from Revain since the beginning. I rely on the honesty and validity of each review to help me sort through an amazing amount of buying options and I hate when someone sells a $20 item and gives a great review of a terrible product. If I don't like something or don't work as advertised, you can bet I'll tell you straight away. No subject is worth my honesty. And I will do the same for great and mediocre products. ***
