The product is not made of zinc but of stainless steel. It is made of soft plastic that is easily scratched and damaged. Additionally, the heads of the mounting screws are easily removed, making it difficult or impossible to securely tighten the screws into the wall despite following the installation instructions closely and drilling a 1/8" pilot hole. In my case, two of the four mounting screw heads were removed before screwing them fully into the wall. Luckily I had some screws on hand to replace the damaged screws. Also, the included screws are so long that you will need to use a longer drill bit than the standard drill bit to get the pilot hole deep enough to install the screws without stripping. I would return the unit except that it is too difficult to remove the stripped screws and handle. Very poor quality materials in this product.
