You will receive two gaskets, one for the bottom of the riser to the mounting flange and one for the bottom of the toilet to the riser. They are too fat, more than necessary. When trying to tighten the nuts to compress the seals, the toilet still wobbled, so I kept tightening while still wiggling. This broke the mounting flange. So what about now! I bought a 5/16 coarse thread hanger bolt, 6" long. I drilled a hanging bolt hole where the flange broke and screwed it in 1 1/2 inches leaving 4 1/2 inches off the bottom. Bolt centers are 6 inches apart. I took an electric kitchen knife and very carefully cut one of the gaskets in half the thickness. Attach it to the bottom of the riser. Dry walked up to it and seemed fine. Tried the same with the toilet on the riser, still a strong seal. So I measured the bottom of the toilet where it enters the riser. Outside 3 3/4 inches. Then measured the inside of the riser where the toilet enters the riser, 4" inside, 1/8" radius difference. So I took one of the pieces of padding I cut off and trimmed it. As a result, everything is assembled, sits tight, nothing is dangling. The water is not yet connected and not tested. I just can't believe anyone could assemble this with both spacers as they are. I will update if I have any water leaks or leaks. UPDATE; No leaks yet, but this thing is 15 1/2 inches square. In our very small bathroom on wheels, getting to the shower is even more difficult. If I had to remodel I would just buy the whole toilet, a high quality model.
