My old GPS mount was a sandbag mount that blocked the view through the windshield and slid across the dashboard. This new one is protected by a cup holder and rises on adjustable hinges for the rider to see. It's a lot easier to clip and unclip, and I like that it doesn't block my view of the road. It was also quite cheap. i really like it Although it seems quite a distance from the dashboard, the voice tells me where to go when I'm not watching, so I also feel it's safe to use. I'm glad I got it!
