They stay in place, provide the support/cushioning you need and adhere very well.SIZES - According to the Venum website, measure the circumference of your thigh 10cm (3.93701 inches) above the bottom of your kneecap.I rounded and measured 4" from the bottom of the kneecap which is 19" (48.26cm). Size fits MED 37-38cm (14-14 1/2"), LG 39-40cm (15-15 1/2") 2") and XL 41+ (16"+), so I ordered XL. When I first got them they were quite tight and difficult to put on, it took me a few workouts to loosen them up but now they are just right, very comfortable and easy to put on and take off.
