There are literally no reviews for this vacuum online so let's change that! I've had this bot for a few days and here are my thoughts (I haven't tested swiping as it's a feature I won't be using): 1. Setting up the Lydsto app was mostly smooth, but the initial prompt about updating the bot firmware is something once did not work. However, clicking the cancel button, going to the settings and selecting the update option from there worked. The app is GOOD, it does all the basic things you would expect from an app controlled smart robot. The no-go area boxes need tweaking though - I had to do the area where the dog bowls are the no-go area - but the smallest box I could draw was too, too big, and that Result was much larger space. will not be deleted as necessary. Note: I kept getting a map error notification in the app during the first run, but once the first map was created/launched the error was gone. 2. The first cleaning/mapping went great - Lydsto R1 was effectively mapped and cleaned. The robot will cling very close to walls and furniture, but not things like some other bots I've seen. No weird noises or anything like that. The suction power/power seems really great. I actually like a side brush - it doesn't toss around as much. Very impressed with the cleaning power. Cleans as well as my Deebot, if not a little better! It gets along well with coarse dirt, such as grain - no problem. 3. The bot looks decently made and doesn't look like it will break easily. The top of the bot is glossy, so touching it will attract a fingerprint. The keys feel solid and rubbery. The brush roller and the side brushes are well made. The brush roller in particular looks EXACTLY like the one used in Roborock and is very, very good. The self-cleaning trash can cleans every single particle out of the trash when I run it. Works without problems. But VERY loud! Louder than most.5. The battery life is excellent. Leveling and clearing my basement took about an hour on the first run, and it took about 40% of the battery. Here's my HUGE caveat: Lydsto as a company doesn't have an online presence. No website. not mentioned anywhere. Nothing. The network has an announcement/press release for this robot and that's it. If something breaks with this robot, who do you turn to if the company doesn't exist? talk about. is there a guarantee at all? Nothing is mentioned on the product page, on the packaging or in the instructions. I'm afraid that in 6 months time if this thing breaks I'll just run out of luck. I hope this review helps someone who has questions about the robot. I also attached a lot of photos, since there is no information and photos available on the Internet.
