This device gives me pure sine wave power from afar at a fraction of the cost of a portable generator. Unlike a generator, it makes no noise and emits no harmful substances. This is because the power is provided by the vehicle idling and noise and emission control devices have never been fitted to generators. After all, a modern car engine typically burns about 1/6 gallon of gasoline per hour, which is more efficient than most generators. I needed reliable, clean power for some sensitive devices while working remotely. This pure sine wave inverter works well and provides what I need from the car at idle. Wherever I get my truck, I can safely charge my electronics - problem solved.
