It was recommended to me by a friend. It really makes camping easier for the electronics. Simply connected to the car battery. If you can jump from car to car. Than you know how to use it. This allows me to use more electronic devices when camping.

This inverter was purchased for use in our caravan. That works great! We were able to convert the direct current from our batteries to alternating current to use appliances such as hair dryers and microwave ovens. The remote control is an added bonus! Delivers what it promises. The only reason for 4 stars is the wireless remote control. Mine arrived broken so there is no way to test its capabilities. There are no instructions, but in general everything is clear. I really like that it shows how many watts are being used at any given time. It draws 1.5 amps. So when nothing is in use, it's best to turn it off to avoid draining the batteries.
