I bought this again because I gave my first inverter to my father who loves it. Tested it immediately with the battery clips that came with it - it works with a hair dryer with no issues. A very happy customer. Very cheap and powerful for the price. I use it in my Chevy Blazer for work - it powers my tool chargers and even my regular circular saw! I haven't had to use it with really heavy loads for a long time, but for the price I felt it was better to buy an inverter rated for just over twice the actual power consumed (although my full-size circular saw uses a lot of power around 1800W, I haven't used it for long)
