It is very easy to use. The manual is short with clear instructions. I think the manufacturer deserves credit for the ease of use and the quality of the results. I didn't give 5 stars because I had issues with the negative holders that are supposed to allow me to load the negatives. Anyway I found a way around this and have now transferred many of the negatives to digital photos. I am very happy with ClearClick. I have previously purchased and returned a more expensive machine which was bulky, took some time to learn to use and gave me terrible results. Recently positive on ClearClick.
