🖨️ COBRA DIGITAL HD Tri-Image Scanner DPS1200 Review

I was looking for something to convert our old photos, negatives and slides into digital images. This little device does its job perfectly. Very easy to use and doesn't take much time. I've scanned over 2500 negatives and slides and they look great. This is a lot better than just taking a bunch of negatives to the store so you can choose which ones to keep. Great little product and I am very happy with it.

I have literally 1000 negatives to digitize. And I have 1000 more photos without the negative. Now they all have a home on my computer where I can label them and save them forever. It had to cost a lot of money to get the ministry to do what I can do at home now. The images are great and the controls are very simple. Just read the instructions. It's a bit bright, which makes me nervous. Just for that score 4. Thank you.

The scanner is simple and easy to use. It handles 35mm slides, negatives and photographs. It takes standard size photos up to 5x7, but custom sizes require some adjustment. If they are too small for the mount, they can get stuck in the machine. I think a strip of clear plastic will work to hold the photo down so it doesn't get stuck. I've been trying to find a way to convert negatives into photos for years. This device is near perfect. In fact, it's perfect for copying photos, converting slides, and copying most negatives. I read the reviews on this device but decided to risk it anyway and I'm very glad I did. My goal is to include all my printed photos because I lost the negatives in the fire. I agree that there is an unwanted artifact with glossy prints, but if you stick with matte prints you should be fine. However, Cobra needs to work on the issue to see if they can fix it. Cobra's three-image digital scanner works, but its usefulness is limited. While slide mounts have a fixed size, the actual film can be one of at least three sizes, which I'll simply call small, medium, and large. The small slide has a wide edge and the large slide has a narrow edge. It looks like the slide adapter is meant for something in the medium sized slide.
