I've been trying to find a way to convert negatives into photos for years. This device is near perfect. In fact, it's perfect for copying photos, converting slides, and copying most negatives. It does everything that is advertised. The slide holders are a little wobbly but after reading other reviews I realized that they need to be treated with care and then there will be no problems. (I'm wondering if I can buy a replacement if I accidentally break it?) The fact that you can see the image before you decide to scan it is definitely worth the difference in cost over those who can't do. The only thing I wish I could do is scan these really old negatives, which are 110 film, or these really old 2x2 squares. But I am completely satisfied with this device. I highly recommend it.
