Review on SFP Transceiver Multimode Gigabit Mini-GBIC Module 1000Base-SX Compatible For Netgear AGM731F(MMF by Sean Bond

The NETGEAR AGM731F is priced at $91 on Revain (at the time of this review). I bought 10 of these for $122 (again at the time of this review)! I've seen several reviews where people have complained that they don't work. There are several factors when it comes to fiber; 1: Make sure the patch cords you are using match the installed fiber. 2: With multimode fiber, one side is used for transmission and the other for reception, which may require swapping connectors on the LIU panel. 3: Don't order the wrong GBIC modules! I'm not speaking from experience, just noticed that there are compatibles with Ubiquiti and other brands. You can get the DOA module, but most likely there is a connection problem if you are having trouble. If you can't get it to work, hire a professional or find another job.
