Threading and machining is satisfactory but I was expecting something more accurate for the money. This valve flows down. I guess from now on I'll just be looking for old medical O2 tanks. If you have a really low O2 supply it might be worth considering another option. This valve assembly works, but at the end of the day it should definitely come loose. I placed the balloon over the valve and reservoir overnight, at about 250m above sea level I lost about 6 liters of O2 with the valve tightly closed. (I never overtighten, always hand tight unless the design dictates otherwise; obviously screwing in a hard gasket is noob practice, causing it to leak after a cycle.) I would feel better if I paid about half that price; At this price I expect better loss control. No bottom valve is going to be perfect, but losing a few liters in about 12 hours is unacceptable in my opinion, especially for a low pressure tank.
