Review on 🚗 Dorman 741-138 Front Driver Side Power Window Motor and Regulator Assembly: Ideal Replacement for Pontiac and Toyota Models by Albert Lee

Bought for my 03 Matrix Xrs and I am very happy with it. Runs a little faster and quieter than the stock ESC and motor, and one touch to lower the window works great. Fits perfectly and matches the holes. The only difference was that the stock motor had the connector built right into the motor and this has about an 8 inch cable coming from the motor, but the connectors were a snug fit. The door has a cut out for a plug which it doesn't have but it works great. Easy repair in 1 hour with very little experience. All you need is some common sense, a small putty knife and a Phillips screwdriver to remove the door panel, a 10mm socket with an extension and some masking tape. I watched a few YouTube videos and saved about $1200 off the retail prices. My suggestion, after you've removed the door panel and regulator cover plate, is to take a picture of the original regulator (what you can see on it) to help you line up the new regulator properly. I was glad I did.
