Review on πŸ”Œ Klein Tools ET60: Battery-Free Low Voltage Digital Multimeter for AC and DC Voltage Testing by Jon Conner

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great tester for the price

After using the Greenlee DVC-10 for over 10 years I finally needed to find a replacement. No one currently produces a gauge with the exact same specs, but this gauge is pretty close in price. After several weeks of use, it has proven itself. The solid construction and easy handling are a big plus. This leaves room for improvement. There is a slight lag in the voltage reading. The main disadvantage is that, unlike most voltmeters, this model does not make a sound when voltage is applied. It's not a deal breaker, but it does take some getting used to. I also want it to have a continuity indicator. The digital display is easy to read and the additional lighting is ideal for working on false ceilings. The GFCI test function works as advertised. I really like how the probes are set to the right spacing after removing unnecessary fences to check sockets. They work great on tamper proof sockets! If there was tension, I would give it 5 stars. Robust counter for everyday use.
