Slow response and loose test leads. Dangerous multimeter.

This is the most disappointing Klein product I have ever purchased. And the worst multimeter I've ever used. Response time from wire feed to visual indicator or continuity tone is slower than even the cheap nameless testers I've encountered. That and the fact that after a few days of use, the black cable became so loose that it accidentally lost contact and sometimes fell out of its socket. These two issues make this product dangerous to use as there may be no voltage indicator. Klein customerโ€ฆ

Great tester for the price

After using the Greenlee DVC-10 for over 10 years I finally needed to find a replacement. No one currently produces a gauge with the exact same specs, but this gauge is pretty close in price. After several weeks of use, it has proven itself. The solid construction and easy handling are a big plus. This leaves room for improvement. There is a slight lag in the voltage reading. The main disadvantage is that, unlike most voltmeters, this model does not make a sound when voltage is applied. It'sโ€ฆ

Easy to use and no battery required

I'm renovating my bathroom and need a voltage tester to make sure my lights and outlets are really off before attempting to swap them out. I'm new to the household and don't really need a meter with all sorts of readings, so this Klein Tools ET60 immediately caught my attention. I love that it doesn't require a battery and gets power from what it's testing. When the cords or outlet are "hot," the indicator on the meter will illuminate. If they are turned off, nothing is displayed on the meterโ€ฆ
