These pieces of wood are great. They are mostly smooth (not sanded with fine sandpaper, but just enough to run your finger over without worrying about splinters), barked on the outside, and typically measure 1/8 to 1/4 inch ( 3 - 6cm). ) thick. They also come with two types of ropes if you want to hang them up or use them as decorations. I've tried paint (acrylic), sharpie, regular markers, fine tip markers and crayons and they all looked amazing and finished. go to the Christmas tree. Be warned, this is wood and any liquid based stain tool can bleed or spread into the wood if you press too hard or apply too much. Haven't tried wood burning or branding but I think it will be fine given their smoothness and thickness. I would definitely recommend them for any projects you might have!
