Review on Performance Tool W54170 Extraction Automotive by Jeremy Choi

I thought this pump would be slow at best but when I used it to change the oil in a pressure washer motor I was very surprised at the capacity. The male! That thing rocks! I wouldn't change my car's oil this way because I think draining is best, but for small engines like lawn mowers, generators, pressure washers etc where draining the oil ALWAYS makes a big mess, this is a way. I wish it came with a case but I can live without it. Note: Before the first use, I used a squeeze bottle and poured some oil into the inlet and outlet. Not much, maybe half an ounce. I then let the impeller down while I did other things I needed to do. I didn't want it to run dry so I tried pouring some oil around the impeller. I don't know if this was necessary, but it seemed like good practice. The pump pumped oil so fast, maybe it wasn't necessary Buy it, you'll be happy!
