This is the stuff I was looking for. It's a fairly thick plastic that gives a little. A large retailer that started with a W used to sell their lowest end hubcaps made out of the same material (non-adjustable ring) and I've had a few of these on a pickup truck for 15 years. One stayed. Three are still connected. So first I went to the dealer who got the kit for the car I was using them on. Two broke during installation. The plastic is now thinner and more brittle. So I have it. I set everything to Wednesday. Great material, thicker and slightly flexible. I would recommend them. You look good too.
