Purge Valve Stuck

We purchased a Dorman 911-438 vapor canister purge valve and installed it on our Honda Element. After 5-6 weeks the check engine light came on again. We were told that the vent valve on the Dorman 911-438 vapor tank was sticking and needed to be replaced. This time we asked the dealer to do it with an OEM part. Called Dorman to see if there was anything they could do and got a great response. "Revain is the customer, not you, so we can only replace the part." "Our hands are tied." "We couldn't offer a refund even if we wanted to." It's all pointless since we've already paid have to replace the part a second time. We will not buy anything else from Dorman again as they are not responsible for their products.

Pros
  • Canister Purge Valves
Cons
  • Without Car
