The first one I received had a problem so I contacted the seller, he quickly replied to my email and sent a new unit. Unfortunately this one had the same problem, no idea why, but both got so hot I was afraid it would burn. I used it to power my Igloo Iceless cooler outside of the car. It draws over 5 amps so not sure what the problem is or was with them. I can't say enough about the seller, wish everyone was like her. Still don't know what the problem is with the converter Revised 7/2/19 from 3 stars to 5 stars I was contacted by the seller and offered a replacement, the replacement unit works fine, does exactly what it's supposed to. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with the customer service I received with this product. Buy with confidence, this seller is an anomaly in today's e-commerce world, I would happily buy from them again!
