I wanted to replace my OEM unit. So I started researching what to get for my car model. The first series of videos that appeared on YouTube were dedicated to Dasaita. The videos tried to make it seem like they were the only device with these features for the new Toyotas. ---- a complete lie! I went to the local car audio store and showed them the video. They all laughed and showed me that all devices can be connected to any car - you get what is called the "Maestro kit" which is specific to your car brand. This item allows you to connect any device to any car with all fancy steering wheel controls. In the store I was taught that big companies like Kenwood, Sony, JVC, Alpine, etc. have much better devices than Dasaita. All have been working for decades and are tried and tested. Traditional companies have more performance, options, customer service and guarantees. I was glad I went to the store to find out the truth. ------- So explore your options and check with local shops before making your final decision.
