The edges of the metal are quite sharp. You must be very careful when washing, holding and using this funnel. If not, you can cut yourself. At first I wanted to return it and get a refund but I needed it urgently so I just used it. It's badly done. I see that the opening of the hopper gets dirty over time because food gets stuck easily. It's a nice large size that does the job of transporting liquid but doesn't stay in place. When the liquid passes, it doesn't stop but keeps moving. Rather spend more money and buy something better and more durable.
