Review on Viotek GNV32DBE 32-Inch 2560x1440P Curved Monitor with FreeSync, 165Hz Refresh Rate, and Wall Mount Compatibility by Richard Hansen

Great monitor in my opinion

So this is the first day. I understand that things can change over time, but I love this monitor right away. Zero dead pixels. Beautiful colors and clarity. Playing Division 2 and switching from my previous 24-inch Asus monitor is just ridiculous. I feel like I'm in the cinema. I'm no expert and I don't have tools to measure things like responsiveness, but I'm sure I didn't notice any ghosting or lag or anything like that. He plays very fluently. When I plugged it in, it defaulted to 2560 x 1440, albeit at 60Hz. However, it was easy to change it to 120 or 144Hz in my graphics settings. I read a few reviews from people saying the monitor was a bit dim even at 100% brightness. I have no idea what they saw but this one was set at 90% from the factory and was so bright I couldn't watch. I reduced the brightness to 20% and now the eyes are comfortable. YMMV but I have more than enough brightness. All functions work. Headphone audio output is ok. The Displayport and HDMI ports (all 3) work. Picture in picture works great. I have a work laptop connected as a second input and I can easily switch between it and my PC. It should be noted that there is a "Picture by Picture" option for dual inputs, which splits the screen in half and allows you to see both inputs at the same time. This works but messes up the resolution where everything is so distorted it's unusable. I've played around with other (lower) resolutions but it didn't help much. Maybe I'll try a custom resolution if I can set it. 1280x1440 might work. Overall, I am very satisfied with the first experiences. I was a bit concerned that a 'cheap' monitor from a lesser known brand might have issues, but it's solid and looks good. I would happily buy another one.
