Pointed shoe at an affordable price. The outsole is rubber and glued (with weird faux stitching to mimic a sewn-on sole) and the leather is colored lacquered to give a patina. I didn't think I would like these shoes because of the construction. , but actually they've worn down quite a bit in the last six months. The insole is comfortable and the surface is soiled deep enough to withstand most surface scratches. Like the Italian shoe (or the Kenneth Cole New York), it has a longer toe box and is slightly narrower in the metatarsal bones. The arch support is solid, even for a high arch like mine. And they look dashing in a blue suit.
