Don't expect to have an IronWolf drive in there because only a small percentage of people are lucky enough to find it after throwing away that 10TB USB drive. I ordered 2 on March 16, 2021 and received 2 Barracuda Pro 7200rpm drives. Fur. At least they are CMR and not SMR right? The last Seagate 8TB SMR drive I got just 3 months ago already died where it clicks, but Windows doesn't "see" it anymore, so it doesn't show up in my list of drives anymore . All 8 TB of stored data will be lost. I've had 4 out of 7 Seagate hard drives that failed between 3 days and 9 months from date of purchase, all different models bought at different times over the last 13 years. Seagate's stereotype that this is the most unreliable drive ever is definitely true. I would just be happy if these drives unfortunately lasted at least the warranty period. I've had about 55 hard drives since 1996 (Western Digital, Sansung, HGST, Hitachi) and they've all been used daily and even my WD Raptor 10,000rpm still worked perfectly after using them 8 hours a day for over 11 years Why is Seagate always so bad? still in business and not yet bankrupt from thousands of failed product lawsuits?
