I usually use Bose, but about three weeks ago I found a Polk soundbar for sale. Go on; About a week ago I decided to add Polk SR1 speakers to the original soundbar for full 5.1 surround sound. However; I had a crackling audio issue from the right speaker. I figured it's ok, I'll call Amazon and have it replaced (which they did). I tried to solve the problem by reading the forums and resetting the panel several times during the week. I have 4 speakers and before shipping the original 2 speakers I decided to devote my day off to trying to fix this crackling problem. I've tried everything from firmware updates, moving router/modem, panel reset at least 4 times, called Polk twice today, uninstalled and reinstalled my Google app, added/removed device and I'm still having the same issue. The Polk customer service representative was friendly. I also consider myself to be a bit tech-savvy, but neither of us got rid of this annoying problem. I can't return the bar, I already bought the racks and I have two rear speakers that sound like garbage bags. Nightmare system, I had to spend extra money on a Bose system.
