Updated April 2019: After a little over a year of experience with these switches I can now say, that with over 70 Homekit nodes, these are by far the most unreliable devices in my house. You work about half the time. Bluetooth LE sounds great in theory, but for those with unusual features like "inner walls" and "multiple floors" in their home, it really is a win-win. helped. So I pull all the wall switches out of the Eva. To be honest, I feel a little left out. Why Elgato didn't opt for Wi-Fi for 120V DC smart devices is beyond me. Let's face it - if you have to deploy more hubs to fix the weak range, you've eaten up any power savings you could get with Bluetooth LE anyway. Conclusion: I need something that will make my outdoor lighting safe and secure. Everyone. Lonely. Night. To that extent these switches are unfortunate. Unlike every other homekit I own, I don't trust it. I can't rely on them, so I can't recommend them. No matter how beautiful they look.
