Based on other reviews I decided to give this dietary supplement a try. I got the cotton candy flavor as others have said other flavors aren't as spicy. I have not tried any other amino acid powder supplements before and cannot compare the taste or energy levels to this one, but I can say that I was pleasantly surprised by its taste and how it works. It smells just like cotton candy. The taste is a cross between cotton candy and an almost fruity punch. Delicious. A slight aftertaste for about a second after swallowing and then passes. The husband hasn't complained about bad breath since people talk about different tastes, but maybe he's just trying to be nice. I have noticed a significant increase in energy and stamina while taking it. I run 3 miles at least a few times a week and need something for stamina as I run on an empty stomach in the morning and run out of breath a little over half the time. I add it to my water container that I carry with me. I end up finishing it about halfway through my run and it helps me stick with it and doesn't make me feel like I'm about to fall over. This gives me extra energy to keep going. And I didn't have any stomach or intestinal problems when I took it on an empty stomach. I ran for several years and used only Gu-Packs for energy before I started. They don't usually do anything for me except make me want to choke on their texture. Sugar gel is disgusting on an empty stomach. I will put them aside and use this supplement from now on.
