Amazingly good and very noisy when cycling! The price was amazing so I thought let's just give it a try. It bolts perfectly straight onto the bike itself - we didn't need to use a case as we didn't have anything installed on the bike in the water bottle location where the standard bolts are. This way seems very tight and secure, but I can't comment on the installation using the wrapping method. The speaker slides in and out like a soda can. I didn't think about stealing, but my husband immediately thought about stealing. When you lock your bike to go to a restaurant, swimming pool, etc., you run the risk of someone walking by and grabbing the speaker simply because it's sitting in the bracket. We are not affected by this, but it depends on how you use the bike. The speaker was surprisingly loud during our trip this weekend and he paired it with his Apple Watch so he could control music/volume from his wrist instead of pressing buttons next to his feet.
