It sticks where you want. But it's easy to say. This made it much easier for me to use the thread. I used to use a spray can and had to apply the flux anywhere I wanted. Took a lot longer than this one. I will never go back. A little is all you need. Of course depending on the size of your solder joint. Add too much and anything you solder will fail. I used to get used to cleaning the board thoroughly after soldering. Well, if there's a little bit of flux left near the joint after soldering, I'm not worried. Is not nobody got time for that!
