Review on 🚲 Water Buffalo Bike: Nylon/Carbon Water Bottle Cage for Mountain & Road Bikes - Includes Wrench & Screws by Scott Rao

This bottle holder looks beautiful. Nothing fancy, but easy entry and exit from both the side and the top. At first I was very happy with it. However, it did what I don't expect from a water bottle cage. It dropped the bottle. At first I thought it was more because I was using a slick thermos that didn't necessarily "fit" well in this cage. Conveniently, the company that does this sends out a free standard squeeze bottle when you sign up with them. Relax. This should help my bottle fall out of the rocky terrain. However, this is not the case. At least for me. My bottle falls out of this cage at least once per ride. It depends on how full the bottle is. It was originally mounted on my downtube, so I moved it to a different, more vertical mount. Fell out of the cage today. All in all - a nice design but might not suit those who ride more technical riding (drops, big rocks etc), probably suited to those who ride smoother terrain. I see no reason to choose this cage over the more traditional unless scratching the bottle is a high priority.
