Review on OLFA CHN1 Chenille Cutter by Gelin Battle

I'm so glad I ordered this cutter. This was my second chenille blanket. I hand carved the first one and it took a very long time and was so hard on my hands. Olfa Cutter made it much easier and faster. It also made it a lot easier to verify that I didn't cut through the base layer of the fabric. I found the blade clogged with flannel fibers, as many reviewers have pointed out. I just used a toothpick after running the cutter through each canal. Quick cleaning of the blade after each channel took only a few seconds - it was easy and quick, and cutting was smoother and easier. This product costs around $20. I paid for it. I hope to make a chenille blanket for all future great kids to be born in our family and this tool will make it so much easier. I plan on ordering an extra blade or something to have on hand if I need to replace the one that came with it.
