I saw this bowl on Airbnb that we stayed in and somehow, against all odds, after 5 months I stuck with it remembered and bought them. I like big cocktail skirts because they keep the liquor cold and melt it slowly, which is obviously already known to anyone who has read this far. I liked the lid that snaps open because my very good silicone bowl doesn't have a lid and is easier to toss in the freezer with a tight lid on the bowl. Getting the cubes out of the silicone tray is a little easier because it's plastic and you have to twist it a bit like your dad did with the plastic ice trays to release the cubes. Why this site wants me to rate the ice tray in terms of "warmth, thickness, stretch" I don't know. But improving ice cream beyond its intrinsic properties isn't easy.
