If you are looking for a very sharp knife that is comfortable to hold (maybe a little heavier) then this is the knife for you. I have one of the original Japanese-made predecessors of this knife. These are nice knives, but they are made in China (at least that's what the literature says). I've been using it for about 5 months now and can easily use a prep knife. The only problem I have is not with the knife but with their website. You get a 25% discount on your next purchase on their website, but you can't order anything on the website! Overall, the knife gets an A and their website gets an A.
