I just received the privacy screen. Installation was super easy. Simply wipe the screen with the provided cloth, separate the privacy filter from the hard plastic screen protector, align it with the screen and release. That's all. Absolutely no blisters so I don't know what others are talking about when they complain about blisters. Losing weight is just as easy. Simply attach the nail at an angle, pull it off, put it back on the hard plastic protective film and put it back in the hard cardboard case. Works best at less than 50% brightness. Higher brightness still blurs typed words, probably up to 16-18 points, making them mostly illegible. A low level of brightness causes the letters to blend into one another, making them illegible. All of this assumes that the person is sitting to your left or right, or behind the person to your left or right. Those directly behind you can still look over your shoulder and see the screen, which makes sense. The privacy filter has a matte finish, which significantly reduces the quality of Surface's bright, high-resolution screen, which is very poor. Otherwise I would give full 5 stars. The touchscreen works great so I don't know what others are complaining about.
